Information you share
When you send an enquiry or order request, we collect the details you provide, including your name, email, phone number, tyre selection, location and service preferences. We use them to respond, confirm availability and manage your request.
How we use information
Your information is available to authorised staff to manage enquiries and order requests. Where a delivery or fitting arrangement requires a service provider, relevant details may need to be shared to fulfil the arrangement confirmed with you.
Automatic vehicle searches
When enabled, choosing Find my vehicle sends your registration plate and state to the configured registration provider, PlateAPI or AutoGrab, to identify possible vehicles. The provider and its privacy policy are shown before you submit. PlateAPI records the plate, state and returned vehicle details in its service logs for up to 12 months. We do not include registration plates in shopping activity counters. Sending a fitment assistance request saves the details you choose to share for our staff to respond. Documented tyre-size matching uses the chosen make, model, year and variant in our own catalogue, without another registration lookup. Extended vehicle fitment searches, when enabled, send the chosen make, model, year and variant to Wheel-Size to retrieve wheel and tyre options. Always confirm the exact vehicle and fitted wheels.
Information on your device
This website saves your cart, shortlist, comparison, recently viewed tyres, tyre size and preferred region in your browser so you can return to them. We also count anonymous shopping actions to understand where customers need help; these counters do not contain names, email addresses or registration plates. These preferences can be removed by clearing this website’s browser storage. An order request is stored when you submit it.
Optional maintenance reminders
If you choose SMS maintenance reminders, we record the consent wording, version, time and your Australian mobile number. The six-month schedule begins after a paid, completed order. Delivery requires an activated messaging provider. You can pause reminders in your private preferences or use the unsubscribe link in a message without signing in. We do not treat an order request as consent to advertising.
Optional purchase updates
You can separately opt in at checkout to a masked purchase update. Only after verified payment and a completed order, our recent activity strip may show your first initial, shopping region, tyre model and quantity for up to 30 days after completion. It never shows your full name, contact details, registration plate, street address, order reference or payment details. This choice is off by default and is separate from maintenance reminders. Contact our team with your order reference if you wish to withdraw it. When no eligible purchases are available, the strip shows labelled catalogue spotlights instead.
Published business purchase history
Previously published purchase updates from our tyre business may also appear with masked names, city, tyre model and quantity. These historical updates are not presented as new checkouts through this website, and their original purchase dates are not specified. Contact our team with the displayed tyre model and city if you want an update removed.
Your garage and referral rewards
Vehicle labels and private confirmation access keys are saved on your device when you use the garage or confirmation screen. Anyone using that browser profile may be able to see them. Referral eligibility and reward ledgers are stored to prevent duplicate or self-referrals and to manage refunds. Keep private reward codes and confirmation access links confidential; share only the referral link intended for friends.
Campaign and performance information
We retain short campaign labels from an ad link with an order request to understand which campaigns bring customers. Full browsing URLs are not stored for this purpose. First-party performance monitoring uses page categories, broad device groups and timing measurements to identify slow or unstable pages. It does not store contact information, registration plates or persistent visitor identifiers and respects a browser Do Not Track preference.
